When to Stop Eating

It takes about 20" for the brain to receive messages from the stomach that food has arrived. When we eat rapidly, not only does it negatively affect our digestion, but it also makes us want more to eat as we may not be quite satisfied. Pushing the plate away when you first begin to feel full is the best time to stop eating. Wrap up what's left for the following day if you don't want to waste food and remember… you're now an adult and no longer need to belong to the Clean Plate Club.
