Food Sources of Vitamin C

Today is National Vitamin C Day! 

I’m sure you know that vitamin C is needed for healthy skin, wound healing and to strengthen the immune system, but here’s something I bet you didn’t know. 

We can’t formulate melatonin or the brain chemicals serotonin, dopamine, and several other neurotransmitters without it. So, if you have trouble falling or staying asleep, battle the winter blues, have trouble concentrating or experience lack of energy, it could be, in part, to lack of vitamin C. 

The infographic provides excellent sources of this important water-soluble vitamin. Increasing your intake of these foods may not instantly make you think, feel or sleep better, but it’s certainly worth a try.
